Welcome! Here you'll find a collection of stories involving antique farm tractors I own and/or have restored. Some posts may also just be tractors I read about in magazines, online or saw at shows that I wanted to share. You may think a 19 year old boy such as myself may not be as well-versed with antique tractors as an older farmer but I may just surprise you! I'm an avid International Harvester collector ready to share information! Enjoy my blog, feel free to stay for as long as you'd like.

A Brockway Farm Tractor?

You have probably discovered by now that these tractors were actually made by the same brotherly team that created the Leader tractor line in Auburn OH. The Cortland NY truck manufacturers tolerated their use of the name as long as they limited their production to farm equipment, since it was their family surname. The Brockway tractor production company was established in Bedford OH and produced two models from 1949-59 totaling about 500 original units, few of which still exist. One family member (son or grandson) is still alive and owns a few out in Bedford as of 2015. Yes, yours is quite a find....
